The Apartment
Morrowind only required

Morrowind only required (but I think it will work in the original "Doom" and MS Flight Simulator 2000 too)

New addition to Balmora!

Really...

Another house mod...

Really...

Sorry, but I couldn't resist. I did one like this awhile back and lost it, so this is a redo of an old and tried and true mod premise... another... house... mod... in... Balmora (what's this make, like about 1200 now).

Actually, it's not a house mod. Just a one room apartment. Located right above old man Cossedes' place, so you won't have far to go to get your quests.

Big time cheat in here. The closet will hold everything in Vardenfal. Because it's small, and I could only GET one closet in there... well... I fudged a little. Cupboards are a little eccentric as well. Sorry...

I think the basket is purist though... but I could be wrong about that as well.

Other than that, it's just what you would think that it is: A decorated one room apartment with a LOT of storage and a bed to rest your weary bones on after a hard day of hacking and slashing and trying to figure out how to get this and other mods to work.

Installation and usage:

As said above: Point your extraction program to the root folder "C:\" (for a default installation of MW only) and the various parts of this massive mod should wind up where they are supposed to (I hope). If it doesn't work, please consult the mod installation tutorial that's listed in the pinned thread at the top of the ES forum. Of course I wrote that too, so that probably won't help a whole lot either...

If all else fails, don't worry about it. You ain't missing that much.

Make sure the .esp is enabled on the Data FIles screen (accessable from the main splash screen).

Manual installation:

Anywho, there are five files here not counting this readme in case you would rather hand place them instead of extracting them (also so you'll know which ones to remove after the 30 seconds that it will take you to determine that you don't like this mod and wish you'ld have never heard of me (if that be the case)):

Clean TheApartment.esp

This one goes in the "C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\Data Files" folder.
(Had one of the local cleaning ladies tidy it up right before you moved in. Reason for the name.)

Ex_hlaalu_stoneblock.nif
Ex_apt_square.nif

These go in the "C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\Data Files\Meshes\x" folder.
(I have no idea what these are for.)

Tx_apt_wall_01.tga
Tx_apt_blck_01.tga

These go in the "C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\Data Files\Textures" folder.
(These either, but I have a sneaking suspicion they have something to do with the ones above.)

Eratta:

Best of luck should you use this, and as always, should anything go wrong, I will publicly disavow any knowledge of my association with this mod.

The Moldy Horker
Bloodmoon required

Should work fine if you have Tribunal installed as well, but Bloodmoon is mandatory.

Finally! A place to sleep on Solstheim.

Always burned my bum that there wasn't anyplace to sleep there. I know the devs did it so that the player would be more likely to get bit by a werewolf, but it still... Well, you know.

Adds a new inn in front of Fort Frostmoth. Nothing special. Just a typical inn with a typical publician who rents beds and buys/sells potions and food items.

Installation: Unzip the files to your "C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softwoks\Morrowind\Data Files" folder, or manually place the S_Inn.esp into your "C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softwoks\Morrowind\Data Files" folder.

Been set up to NOT pooch one of the quests, so the publician won't sell you any "spoilers"... and I won't say anything more about that in case you haven't gotten that far yet.

There is one minor cheat though.
Just a little one.
Small.

A small addition to this one. Nigedo has been kind enough to create a personal (exterior) sign for "The Moldy Horker", and it's included with this mod. Looks really nice, and I'ld like to thank him for doing so.

Hope you enjoy.
