You can select the tree orientation from options down below. Some nodes have multiple parents denoted by the linking lines. Nodes in olive green have child(ren) nodes that are not yet expanded.

You can change the selection mode from Normal (i.e. leaving the hierarchy as is) to Set as Root selection (i.e. center the selected node), which may better visualize nodes with multiple parents, especially if there's overlapping or faulty alignment.

Single-click on a node to select it, which will expand and collapse the tree accordingly (the corresponding path will be highlighted only in Normal selection mode). In Normal selection mode, click on the selected node again will hide options that are also available from alternate path(s).
